I just read your letter about Dr.Duvic. She is my husbands doctor and we travel from Tennessee to see her. I agree that she is out to give info a patient can understand. I am glad we are able to have such a smart person working on the treatment for my husband.

Sorry to hear of your sickness. Just know with Dr. Duvic and God- – - you are on a GREAT team!!!!!!

I too see dr. duvic on a regular follow up basis.when i first saw her i was suffering from advanced M.F.(mycosis fungoides).she was absolutely compassionate and professional. i am hesitant to say what i believed my only options would be if it turned out she couldn’t help me.within a couple of hours she had me diagnosed and on my way to one of their best radiation doctors.i must admit that the next ten weeks were the hardest in my life.when i left houston at the end of august even tho’ i was still in pain and healing from radiation,i knew i was going to be so much better off than i had been in years.it is january now and i feel so blessed to have been accepted as her patient.i thank god for her and M.D.Anderson every day!i am looking forward to flying up there monday as a matter of fact.she will always be in my prayers! After finding your logs while doing a site search and I’ve been reading some of the entries here. I’m seeing Dr. Duvic for CTCL and couldn’t agree more with your observations. I also have been seeing Dr. Donato but haven’t met her replacement. I seem to be on the same path you are. Thanks for sharing your voyage and blazing the trail too. Best of luck with you’re recovery, I’ll be pulling for you from here.

That is a wonderful tribute to Dr. D. She is indeed a reemarkable person and doctor and friend. And she will always be in my prayers too.
